There is a very famous and sarcastic Italian saying which goes: "laugh, mom made gnocchi!”. 

The birth of the saying is linked to ancient times when poverty reigned supreme and the ingredients costed too much. Consequently the preparation of gnocchi represented a sort of celebration in the family. 

Nowadays the joy that gnocchi bring on your table and in your soul is still the same, and what’s more? It takes only two minutes cooking time to achieve that.

Rummo Lenta Lavorazione® (Rummo slow manufacturing process) is a method inspired

by tradition and based on the search for excellence in every phase of production.


During this process, the pasta is drawn with special bronze dies that gives it a rough, sauce-absorbing surface, capable of delivering an irresistible tasteful sensation, bite after bite.

April 2011

Pasta Rummo earns the Bureau Veritas certification for its resistance to over-cooking and the quality of the durum wheat used to make it.

 

On every package of pasta you can still see the three horses (Bruto, Bello

and Baiardo) which back in 1900 used to pull the wheat to Rummo’s mill.

Since then many things have changed, but the authentic taste and texture of their unique pasta has been preserved intact over time.

Gnocchi are very versatile and their delicate flavour will go well with all your favourite ingredients, giving you the opportunity to experiment many different recipes. Despite there is no limit to fantasy, be assured that a simple tomato sauce and mozzarella, or butter and sage will make a quick, simple yet delicious and satisfying meal.  


Directions of use:

Cooks in 2 minutes. 

Store in a cool dry place. 

Once opened, store in the fridge and consume within three days. 

Product packaged in a protective atmosphere.

Fresh potatoes 80%, durum wheat semolina 10%, potato starch 6.5%, rice flour 1.5%, salt 1.4%, acidity regulator: lactic acid 0.45%, preservative: sorbic acid 0.08%, natural aroma 0.06%, turmeric 0.01%. 

May contain traces of soy.
